The Couch Potato

Keeping my eye glued to the Tv set is what I do best these days while waiting for calls from prospective but elusive employers.
So while I'm at it, let me give you a preview of what's lighting up my boob tube.

I'm loving this new show on Star World, Ed. Named after the main character of the show who turned the worst day of his life into the best day of his life by returning home to StuckeyVille. There he finds himself in pursuit of his high school dream girl Carol Vessey played by the gorgeous Julie Bowen (Happy Gilmore, Joe Somebody) and bought Stuckey bowl and turned himself into a bowling alley lawyer. I would spare you the twists and turns of his tough fight to win the girl of his dreams so try seein it this Wednesday night.

Smallville is still my first love or or should I say Lana Lang? I can't wait to watch Season 1 agai on Star World.

Seven days and Relic Hunter are my best picks on afternoons. (AXN)

If you're into reality shows, Fear Factor would be my pick, I love seeing people get over their worst fears and even though they dont get to win the 50 grand, they were able to prove something to themselves. Of course it would be a lot more fulfilling ifyou get to go home with 50 thousand dollars in your pocket but getting past the challenges would definitely help you boost your confidence on things right?

Reality sucks with For Love or Money and The Bachelor, although it deals with the harsh reality that people can really get deceived or play games for love and money. Its like their commercializing Lies, Deception and that love can be just a game. and that sucks!

ETC also has great programs, Knock First a show that I'd love to have here in the Philippines, there's this trio/team of designers that seeks to help teenagers design and improve their bedrooms and give them lots of freebies like PC's Playstations and some other cool stuffs. I wish we have it here too.

On the downside of it all would be this show, Queer eye for the straight guy, call me conservative or narrow but I really hate the idea. And they call themselves Fab Five? Nuts! I guarantee you there will be a fag out break in the next few months if they dont stop running this show here. Just the sight of this retards makes me wanna puke and burn the TV set. What? they're encouraging closet queens to come out from their shells and tell the world that its fabulous to be gay? I just hope that MTRCB will do something about this.

So there goes my ad free post. Check out these shows and I can promise that you'll have a good time. (I'm not sure about the 5 mutants though) :(

(oh! the perils of being a bum!)

Usapang Kanin

At lunch the other day...

[Makoy]: Di mo titirhan ng pagkain si Mulder? ( He was talkin about my dog, na isang hamak na *panker)
[Mokong]: Bakit ako ba tinitirhan nya ng pagkain pag sya ang naunang kumain?
[Makoy]: Oo nga no!?
!

He laughed, stopped and thought for a while and then he got back at me and said:

[Makoy]: Bakit, kung titirhan ka ba nya ng pagkain, kakainin mo ba naman? (nice one!)
[Mokong]: Hinde, but its the thought that counts.

Thats what you get when you put two mindless bum and chicken curry and a 1.5 liter of coke.
Nuts!

*panker- n. a name used to describe ordinary dogs, sa tagalog pangkeraniwan...

A while

I guess I've been really that busy with my jobsearch that I lost track of time and forgot all about my blog, my apologies...
The good news is, I still don't have a job.

Flanagan Industrial Test, Guilford Zimmerman Test, Gay HR Manager's indecent proposal, Countless essays and interviews after, I am still nothing but a pain in the ass, good for nothing bum!

(Now that didn't come easy...) One of life's cruel facts, nothing comes easy, everything has a price... you live to survive. And even the fittest won't win it all.

Am I making sense? Wow! I guess all the long walks in Makati has really took its toll on me... I've drained it all...

First Anniversary

This day marks my first year as a blogger! and though sometimes I miss and lose track of my way here, a part of me will always lead me home... as they say, Home is where the heart is. :)

I've made this my home, my shelter. Here, I find peace in my most troubling times. Here, I am heard. Here, I am able to share the joys of being loved, and the pain that comes with it somehow vanishes when I go home, Here.

I went back to that old place, my dark skies, my old home, to kiss it goodbye once again... now, I can boldly say, I have moved on... I have found love again, I have found someone who paints my dark skies blue!

It felt a little weird writing for "dark skies" again, But I felt that I owe something to it, because after all its where I started out in bein a blogger. Yet now, I can only look at the black dreary layout with a smile and say "I'm okay now" I sure am.

The dark clouds are gathering, a storm is just about to come, but I know I have nothing to fear, because I got you... and I got all of you!!! ...
