The fighter
Sometimes the things we fear the most are the things that have already happened to us.
I dread the thought of being alone again.
I fear getting hurt because I know what pain feels like, and I never wanna experience it again.
But life wouldn't make sense if we'll always be afraid of risks.
You'll just curl up in a corner wondering what might have been if you tried.
Life is about taking risks, standing up for a challenge and getting the kick out of losing.
You need to stumble and fall in order to be brave to stand and walk proud again.
You get cuts and bruises but it will all heal.
And though I know that I still have that fear inside me, I know I have to face it.
I'm a fighter, not a quitter...

Here's a song that's been plaguing the airwaves recently, It's my current LSS (Last Song Syndrome)... I like the message of the song. I just can't figure out why snow was all over the video. Maybe it was juzt an excuse for the new vocalist of South Border to wear a bonnet :)

I guess we really have to go through a storm to be able to appreciate the sun.
No matter how we seem to curse the sun for shining so bright, leaving us with the feel of a stove inside our homes... We'll go looking for it once the rain starts to pour and send some of us packing to an evacuation center because their homes have been swept away by a flood.
My life hasn't always been sunny smiles, or cold rainy nights... I have been in constant struggles but somehow I found my way through...
Life goes on, moves on and so will I.
